The Company

PJP Associates Limited was registered and incorporated in Zambia in October 1994


The objective of PJP Associates is to provide professional services of the highest international standard to firms and individuals engaged in development-related activities in Zambia and the region. To this end we are committed to working from our base in Zambia, using and bringing together the best available local skills and knowledge wherever and whenever appropriate.

We are also committed to computer technology as the means of maintaining international standards of service, and we are equipped with the latest technology, including Computer Aided Design (CAD), communications, graphics and general office software.


PJP Associates operates from newly refurbished, purpose oriented head offices in n the Lusaka’s Northmead, and from an agency office Kitwe.  The Lusaka offices are located on Sibweni Road, Stand No. 6004 Lusaka.

The offices are newly furnished and equipped. The surroundings are peaceful, and attractive, with plentiful secure parking. The Kitwe agency Office is located in the Riverside district, close to the Copperbelt University.

Equipment and Resources

PJP Associates is fully equipped with its own computers, and all necessary general office equipment. We have the following in-house resources immediately available for the benefit of our clients as required:-

  • Secretarial and administrative support personnel.
  • Full range of word processing, spreadsheet, data-base, data analysis, communications and graphics software.
  • General office equipment – Servers, Desktop PCs, Laptops, Ipads, copies, fax, printers, scanners, binders, laminators etc.
  • Full CAD facilities, compatible with all major CAD systems
  • Survey equipment and digital cameras.
  • Laser and Colour printers and A1 colour plotters.
  • Transport – PJP owns over 6 conventional and has easy access to 4-wheel drive vehicles. Through our associates we also have access to a large fleet of vehicles of every type.
  • Field facilities – through our associates we have access to logistical support and facilities in virtually every province and district in Zambia
Project Management and Architectural Services

Project Management and Architectural projects are directed by C. D. Katengo a registered architect in Zambia and South Africa (AIT) with over nineteen years experience in the region and Mrs. K. M. Katengo with seventeen years experience of architectural and project management practice.  In addition to the architects/directors, PJP Associates also employs 5 qualified Zambian architects and 2 CAD Technicians. From time to time we also engage freelance professional staff, and through them we can if required provide additional services, such as land surveys, landscape design, model making, town planning, interior design, graphic design, and artists impressions.  We have links with architectural practices in most African countries, mainland Europe and the United Kingdom. PJP Associates are therefore able to blend current International Practice Standards, with local experience and knowledge. Our practice methods and principles bring up to date the architectural and building industry practices in Zambia. PJP Associates can provide the full range of Project Management, architectural and cost control services from inception to completion, or partial services as required.
